Description
The Corporate Sales Manager will represent Planet Aid in cultivating business relationships with new clients (companies and individuals) and will be an essential part of growing Planet Aid’s impact by increasing donations of used clothing and shoes. The Manager will serve as a sales and customer service account manager for retail, commercial real estate and other partners utilizing Planet Aid‘s service delivery models.
The Corporate Sales Manager will engage new site partners and will grow the scope of site partners by developing and implementing new partnership models. The Corporate Sales Manager will work with clients and customers in all locations where Planet Aid is currently active.
The manager will use a combination of in-person and digital customer service methods to negotiate leasing agreements and ensure the continued satisfaction of collection site hosts.

Planet Aid’s clothes reuse and recycling program aims at making the recycling of textiles accessible to as many people as possible by locating collection boxes at convenient locations in urban and suburban areas. Currently, the organization operates 10,000 collection points in several states and metropolitan areas. Planet Aid’s overseas programs carried out by partner organizations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America are primarily directed at the poorer communities, often in rural areas. Capacity building, training, and educational activities are integral parts of most programs, which seek to empower communities and people ages from preschool to the elderly to improve living conditions, the environment and health, and human happiness. Requirements
EDUCATION: College degree (e.g. BBA, BA, BS, or BFA) OR achievement of journeyman status in a recognized trade, OR achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
EXPERIENCE: Five years of commercial real estate, property management, or related experience in sales and customer service. Proven track record of closing deals and maintaining solid relationships with customers and business partnerships.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be fluent in English.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Expert-level computer skills and applications such as Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with database record-keeping and CRM software and other online applications such as Hubspot and other tools for sales and customer service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand or sit, and frequently required to walk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office setting; travel required to make face-to-face contact with site hosts in the NE region; Travel for corporate meetings, trade shows, and conferences will be required (< 20%).
