PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s computer networks.

Location: Tampa, FL

Required Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Required Experience: Three (3 ) years of experience in Information Technology

Responsibilities

· Assist in the design and implementation of computer networks.

· Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.

· Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

· Collaborate with senior network engineers in planning and implementing network upgrades and expansions.

· Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.

· Install and configure network software and applications.

· Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as backups and updates.

· Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

· Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to contribute to continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate network systems with other infrastructure components.

Requirements

· Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

· Familiarity with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

· Knowledge of security best practices in networking.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in networking (e.g., CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA) is a plus.
