Greystones Group has an opportunity for a Ship Systems Safey Engineer supporting a Navy customer in the Washington Navy Yard. The Systems Engineer will assist in the development of system safety engineering policies, directives, procedures and guidance. Provide correct and concise guidance and training to the program in system safety engineering policy, methods and standard practice. Conduct safety reviews in coordination with the programs interfacing Technical Warrant Holders and the Program Office. Review system safety plans and programmatic environment, safety and health evaluations. Review and evaluate information included in the Navys Electronic Hazard Assessment Report database (eHAR). Review and respond to casualty reports and hazard reports that relate to systems safety. Audit Program levels qualification packages to ensure they are correct and complete. Assist the team with any safety related meetings and organization of data.
This position will be onsite in Washington, D.C.

Salary: $120k-140k
Qualifications:
10 years of experience with Navy ships system safety
Active Secret clearance or are eligible to receive one
Preferred: Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering
