The Client Service Representative at Pine Point Animal Hospital serves as the face of the practice giving the first and last impressions of Pine Point Animal Hospital; therefore, providing a positive experience is crucial to success. They function as a liaison between the client and hospital staff, ensuring that client needs are prioritized and met compassionately and efficiently. They must like working with people as well as pets and carry out record-keeping, scheduling, client communication, and accurate payment processing in a manner which supports access to care for all. They provide support as needed for fellow team members and would be cross-trained as a veterinary assistant. No weekend or on-call duties!
To be considered for this role, you need to be able to do or demonstrate:
● Enjoy working in a fast-paced, yet fun, environment
● Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 40 pounds.
● Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
● Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
● Knowledge of and the ability to use computers with demonstrated keyboarding skills.
● Able to learn basic veterinary medical terminology.
● Experience with answering phones and greeting clients and customers in person.
● Ability to multi-task and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
● Ability to think independently and demonstrate good problem solving skills.
● Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of staff.
● Cash handling and accurate credit card handling.
