Job Description:

As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee engagement. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining a culture of exceptional service delivery. Your strategic leadership will drive the hotel's success and uphold its reputation as a premier destination in Chattanooga, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve hotel goals and objectives, including revenue growth, cost management, and guest satisfaction targets.

2. Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage services, and guest relations.

3. Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability and adherence to financial goals.

4. Guest Experience: Ensure that guests receive exceptional service and hospitality throughout their stay, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

5. Staff Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and professionalism.

6. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations and brand standards.

7. Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue through effective marketing strategies, sales initiatives, and partnerships.

8. Community Engagement: Represent the hotel in the local community, building relationships with key stakeholders and participating in community events and initiatives.

9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and security standards.

10. Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing updates on key performance metrics, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field

- Proven experience in hotel management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
