Oddstory Brewing Company is a local and family-owned craft brewery in Chattanooga, TN who is looking for a customer service and numbers driven individual to lead and grow our 1604 Central Avenue location. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished and thoughtful leader, a passionate beer lover, and confident decision maker that thrives on providing excellent customer service all while helping Oddstory grow and thrive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing daily business operations
• Monitor sales information, cost of goods, overhead, labor costs, expenses, and profit to ensure successful operations
• Work extensively with the Executive Chef and Taproom Manager to ensure goals and standards are being met and exceeded
• Responsible for the development of policies and procedures in all facets of customer-facing functions
• Ensures and monitors customer satisfaction, and makes appropriate changes based on data analysis
• Lead routine staff meetings to ensure accountability/uniformity
• Work with the Events Manager to ensure events are well-communicated to staff
• Onsight for heavy volume days of operation and events
• Hire, manage and properly train new hires in the FOH and BOH

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years relevant management experience in bar, restaurant, or brewery preferred
• Proven ability to manage, lead, and develop people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to foresee obstacles and implement solutions
• Demonstrated passion for craft beer and community
• Advanced understanding of POS systems and reporting
• A competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
