PHMC is Hiring a Forensic Evaluator - Adult/Youth Safety & Responsibility (FFS) Near Philadelphia, PA

JOB OVERVIEW:

Joseph J. Peters Institute is seeking master's level clinicians (graduates of psychology and clinical social work programs) to perform psychosexual evaluations for JJPI's Adult and Youth Safety and Responsibility Program. This position reports to the Evaluations Coordinator/Supervising Psychologist. Remote work is available. Clinical intake experience is required. Full assessment battery experience is preferred.

ROLE TYPE: Contractor (Fee-for-Service)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform outpatient Comprehensive Bio-psychosocial Evaluations (CBE) for adolescents and adults in the Safety and Responsibility Program, as part of a team and under the supervision of a psychologist.
  • Interview participants and other parties involved in participants' care.
  • Administer psychometric measures and interpret results.
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports in a timely fashion.
  • Submit reports no later than two weeks after the evaluation date.
  • Attend clinical meetings and scheduled supervision.
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency, managed care, and licensing requirements.
  • Adhere to JJPI’s standard operating procedure for completing CRS paperwork, including submission of utilization reports at the end of each week.
  • Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirements of various funders.
  • Work and communicate effectively with other staff members and programs. Contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment.
  • Maintain own liability insurance.
  • Complete and submit utilization reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week.
  • Complete required court reports for court-involved clients.
  • Understand the impact of caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency.
  • Work with other staff members to develop new treatment programs that promote the agency's financial performance.
  • Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent interviewing, assessment, and writing skills
  • Ability to function as part of an assessment team consisting of supervising psychologists and psychiatrists
  • Ability to meet timelines
  • Preferred: Training in evidence-based treatment for survivors

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology or clinical social work from an accredited institution
  • Clinical intake experience
  • Preferred: Full assessment battery experience
