Job Description: Responsible for providing administrative support to the health network medical leadership team (Director of Nursing and Medical Director). The Medical Department Administrative Assistant will report to the Medical Director of Health Services Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing administrative support to the health network medical leadership team
Support UDS reporting and regular, varied quality and data reporting efforts
Support electronic medical record implementation and optimization at the behest of medical leadership
Support various logistics related to new provider recruitment
Coordinate clinical aspects of grant reports and grants management, including HRSA, DHH and other grant
Manages provider scheduling and correspondence in partnership with various leaders and stakeholders
Partners with credentialing staff to ensure proper credentialing oversight for clinical staff
Schedule meetings and room reservations; set up equipment, as necessary
Accountable for agenda preparation, meeting minutes, liaising with IT, catering and conference support services to ensure meetings are appropriately supported
Provide administrative support in the preparation of grants on behalf of SHS
Prepare documents for submission to Human Resources for all internal and off-site SHS staff, including processing of paperwork for transfers, students, interns and processing of paperwork related to promotions, bonuses, changes in supervisor, etc.
Process timekeeping during the absence of the Timekeeping Coordinator
Support Assist with special projects
Other administrative duties as assigned
