SUMMARY: Pharmgate Biologics is passionate about developing high quality, innovative animal health biologicals. We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The person filling this role must be dependable, high attention to detail, and integrity to following processes. Experience or knowledge working for a small manufacturing company or warehouse is desirable. Must possess great communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Labeling and Packaging Product (primary responsibility):

- Oversee labeling/packaging process ensuring all labeling jobs are completed efficiently and accurately.

- Quality check labels, follow standard operating procedures, and prepare equipment for assigned labeling jobs.

- Build boxes, apply box labels, load vials on labeling machine, package vials into boxes.

- Quality check vial volumes, label application, product seal, etc.

- Prepare pallets for shipment.

- Equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Shipping and Receiving

- Perform warehouse duties including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products.

- Follow specialized protocols per warehouse and production department standards.

- Load and unload truck shipments.

- Maintain cleanliness of warehouses (break down boxes, recycling, cleaning duties)

- Transfer materials between two different warehouse locations.

Inventory

- Monitor inventory levels of various materials and re-order.

- Track and reconcile inventory of final product.

- Process paperwork and SOPs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The knowledge, skill, and/or ability listed below are representative requirements.

- Strong attention to detail and appreciation of quality control.

- Responsible and reliable.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Comfortable multi-tasking and a willingness to be flexible and helpful to others.

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates with the knowledge, skill, and/or ability listed below:

· Working knowledge of Excel and SAP

· Previous experience in a warehouse setting

EDUCATION:

· Minimum of a high school education

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to both office settings and manufacturing environments. Exposure to manufacturing environments with moving mechanical parts. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, operate a pallet jack, and stand for their entire shift.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: this job has no supervisory responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
