PGA of America Corporate is Hiring a Financial Assistant Near Frisco, TX

The Finance Assistant is responsible for the financial processes of PGA REACH, to include but not limited to gift processing; expense processing, data entry of gifts, recording pledges, reviewing donor accounts for accuracy, transaction coding of invoices, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):

Manage all donation processing for PGA REACH, including receipt, data input in Salesforce, and pledge management.

Oversee monthly and annual financial reconciliation processes.

Collaborate with staff to analyze fundraising trends/results and fulfill monthly/annual reporting requirements.

Create custom reports and queries to track giving levels, renewal rates, pledge collection deadlines, recurring gifts, and other data for ongoing fundraising and campaign activities. 

Respond to donor inquiries regarding gift history, receipts, and assistance with payments via Donor Advised Fund (DAF), stock, other.

Assist in the oversight of the financial records of PGA REACH with activities including but not limited to:

· Purchase Requisitions

· Invoice Coding

· Analysis of monthly financial performance with follow up on discrepancies and communication of findings

· Budget Preparation

Serve as back-up for all aspects of Workday and Salesforce including reports and queries for the Development team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Finance or related field. Two years’ related experience in finance and operations preferably in a nonprofit organization.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Must have knowledge of nonprofit operations with an emphasis in administrative support, finance and/or operations. Working knowledge of Salesforce and financial systems, such as Workday. A demonstrated understanding of Google Workspace with an emphasis in Google Sheets. 

Travel required up to 10% of time.
