Landscape Operations Manager
The Operations Manager plans, coordinates and directs all aspects of the Exterior Services operations. Responsibilities include creating work schedules and coordinating schedules for crew and associated daily work; Ensure all work performed conforms to specifications and within budgeted guidelines; Measure and maintain high level of production while limiting/reducing operating expenses to increase profitability; Monitor work in progress, track manpower and resource allocation, report on variances; Review all job cost reports and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability; Continuously look for ways to improve and promote quality and apply means/methods to improve prequalification’s:

Solid knowledge and understanding of horticultural practices/services, plant/pest identification, industry related equipment, is preferred Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as: Excel, Outlook and Word Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written Ability to interact with co-workers, staff, tenants, contractors, and the public in a professional and positive manner Ability to effectively multi-task and directly manage projects while meeting time constraints performance and quality. This position is full time, year round employment.

Primary Responsibilities: Oversight of multiple supervisors and crews, work allocation, problem resolution and technical support Hiring, coaching, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution of exterior services crew members Develop, implement, and enforce employee training, standardized operating policy and procedures to ensure quality standards Identify and hire the necessary and appropriate personnel and resources, including increased staffing needs during seasonal demands. Monitor, measure, and report work performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure success Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures Manage and coordinate work-flow between each division and their respective supervisors Including route sheets, scheduling, and resource allocation Oversee production and completion of site work within deadline constraints Operations staff development, training, and mentoring to improve employee competency and job satisfaction. Demonstrate a positive role model for others to follow while creating a positive team environment. Influence/mentor others to achieve high level of performance Investigate work related complaints to verify problems and to determine responses and corrective action if necessary

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
