  • Responsible for scheduling appointments and properly documenting patient accounts
  • Understands the importance of productivity in regards to scheduling and recapturing appointments
  • Accurately enters patient demographics, insurance and case information
  • Accurately enters charges as needed, review charges / encounters, and completes coding edits checks
  • Collects all monies that are due prior to each visit including, but not limited to co-payments, deductibles, co-insurance, payments on statements and supplies. Documents all monies in the system appropriately and provides system receipt.
  • Accurately verifies benefits
  • Process Claims and enter ERA
  • Ensures that all visits performed are properly authorized and makes efforts to minimize the occurrence of any unauthorized visits
  • Fills out patient forms and explains the details surrounding the paperwork presented to the patient
  • Research patient insurance denials
  • Greet each and every patient with a friendly smile, by name and with respect.
  • Respond to request by patients, coworkers, providers, and business manager in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must have a great personality, friendly, and willingness to learn.
  • Must be great at taking notes, learning new things, and great time management skills.
  • Must be be good at documenting calls, tasks, meeting notes and multi-tasking.
  • Must have experience in Insurance Verification
  • Must have Medical Front Desk Experience
  • Must enjoy working with patients and in a busy office environment.
