Perfect Smile Dental Group is Hiring a Dental Office Assistant Near Whittier, CA

  • We are a family dental office located in Whittier. We are looking for a friendly, sociable, reliable individual to join our team.
  • Candidate MUST SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH.
  • Candidate MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS.
  • MUST HAVE A SENSE OF URGENCY, Clinic is a busy environment. Working efficiently & safely is a must.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL is a MUST.
  • No dental assisting experience required. We are open to training the right candidate.

Job Descriptions

  • Welcome the patients.
  • Communicate, schedule and confirm appointments for patients. Maintain recall list.
  • Setup treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Take x-rays and impressions, make temporary crowns.
  • Perform dental charting Keeping accurate notes/records on all patient treatment.
  • Assist the dentist in providing care for our patients.
  • Provide Oral hygiene and Post-operative instructions.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments/equipment/operatory/chairs.
  • Keep treatment rooms clean and well-stocked.
  • Keep the clinic, lunch room, restrooms clean.
  • Submit & receiving lab cases.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for our patients and team.
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
  • Must be Bilingual, FLUENT SPANISH (REQUIRED)
  • Must be able to work SATURDAY (REQUIRED)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (REQUIRED)
  • MUST HAVE A SENSE OF URGENCY, Clinic is a busy environment. Working efficiently & safely is a must.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL is a MUST.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States (REQUIRED)
  • Basic computer knowledge (REQUIRED)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Current CPR certification (Preferred)
  • Experience with Open Dental (Preferred)
  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
