Percipient.ai is seeking a Senior Data Center Engineer to assist our IT support team in maintaining public/private cloud resources, as well as corporate infrastructure supporting the development of our visual intelligence advanced analytics platform. This role shall develop and maintain a hybrid public/private cloud virtualization environment, as well as manage a multi-site organizational network and server infrastructure. The position requires skills in managing data center hosting environments, enterprise virtualization, network and security engineering, system performance tuning/monitoring, cloud computing, vulnerability management/patching, and overall network infrastructure troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Improving the integrity, availability, confidentiality, and performance ofpercipient.ai’s network and cloud services
• Maintaining corporate IT and network infrastructure
• Management of public and private cloud virtualization environments
• Implementing and monitoring resource utilization/availability
• Developing and maintaining IT plans/processes/procedures
• Systems reliability engineering
• Managing and participating in an on-call program to enable the high performance/availability of a private cloud environment

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or commensurate experience/qualifications
• 7 years of systems/applications operation and networking experience in 24/7 production environments
• Firm grasp of advanced aspects of data center virtualization, including VMware vSphere, Linux KVM, enterprise storage arrays, spine/leaf switching architecture, and GPU accelerated computing
• Experience running large-scale virtualized infrastructures supporting both on-prem and cloud deployments
• Experience in public/private infrastructure automation using products such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Juju, etc.
• Experience supporting AWS, Azure, OCI, and/or Openstack cloud API
• Demonstrated experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Linux, Mac, and Windows endpoints
• Scripting experience with either Python, Bash, or Perl
• Experience operating and troubleshooting various network tools, such as centralized access management (SAML, Oauth, LDAP, Kerberos), vulnerability scanning/analysis, SIEMs, and firewalls
• Experience in multi-OS security triage and forensic analysis is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
• US citizenship required due to federal requirements
