Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking a Data Engineer II/Senior Computer Systems Analyst to support a government client.

Description:

• Possess and apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
• Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
• Operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
• Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Introduce new functionality to current computer systems.

Clearance:

• TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI/POLY

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience with various Linux platforms and Microsoft OSS.
• Fluency in programming languages such as C , C#, Python, Spark, etc.
• Technical expertise in computer programming and engineering systems.
• Proficiency with SQL and workflow orchestration concepts such as Preset.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, management systems, and algorithms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS, CITP, Azure certifications or similar is preferred.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
