Peraton is Hiring a Technology Program Manager Near Washington, DC

Responsibilities

We are Hiring! We are looking for a Program manager to support our Criminal Investigations Data Analysis (CIDA) Program for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This qualified individual will oversee the program’s application maintenance and ongoing development. This application consolidates large volumes of diverse IRS, internal investigative and external data sets in an Open-Source tools-assisted application serviced by an ORACLE Database repository, which provides quality, standardized and integrated information. This position is hybrid, requiring on-site presence at the client’s Washington, DC location and some remote work.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage one or more projects or programs and supervises professional and technical personnel performing their customary disciplines.
  • Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with the client and vendors. Trains and supervises personnel.
  • Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations.
  • Will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete tasks.
  • Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance.
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 10 years of relavant experience. Additional years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree.
  • Must have at least 10 years of experience managing contracts of similar scope and size.
  • Experience leading teams of 5-10 employees/personnel. 
  • Experience with building high performance teams to meet and exceed service levels
  • Should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, the Project Management Institute (PMI), Lean IT, Agile practices, as well as DevSecOps.
  • Must be certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), certified Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification, and have experience in project management, budget, and forecasting toolsets.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (High)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Certification
  • Active Public Trust clearance
  • Experience with VMWARE and HPE servers is a plus

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
