POSITION TITLE: VP of Marketing and Digital Experience

LOCATION: Remote

REPORT TO: Senior VP Marketing & Communications

The VP of Marketing and Digital Experience is a senior leader overseeing and managing the marketing strategies and digital experience initiatives across Per Scholas. They drive growth by developing, implementing, and assessing comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns, ensuring a positive digital customer experience, and driving brand awareness.

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns: Work closely with stakeholders across Per Scholas to define marketing objectives and develop strategic plans and campaigns to achieve them. 
  • Managing brand and reputation: Maintaining and enhancing the company's brand image and reputation. This includes creating and implementing branding guidelines, overseeing advertising and promotional activities, and ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Digital marketing and customer experience: Lead the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, including website, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM). They also focus on ensuring a seamless user experience across Per Scholas website and other digital platforms.
  • Data analysis and performance tracking: Utilize data analytics and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. By analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), they can measure the impact of marketing activities and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Team management and collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, overseeing the hiring, training, and performance management. They also collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development, innovation, R&A, alumni, talent solutions, diverse by design, etc. to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best marketing and digital experience practices. They assess opportunities for innovation and make recommendations to adapt and improve our marketing strategies accordingly.

Professional Qualifications 

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field, with 10-15 years of experience
  • Digital Expertise: Proficiency in digital marketing channels like SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing, and analytics
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data and analytics to inform marketing strategies and optimize performance
  • Team Management: 10 years of proven leadership experience 
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for articulating strategies, collaborating with teams, and engaging stakeholders
  • 10 years of industry knowledge in marketing and communication strategy, creativity, and campaigns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effectively articulating marketing strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

For this role specifically, we are targeting a salary range of $115,000 - $125,000, where the difference in salary is typically determined by several factors, including geography in which the selected candidate resides and alignment with qualifications and experience.
