Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Engineer/Analyst to support our Huntsville, AL location. 

Responsibilities include support of the PEO M&S STORM PO SW Division managing software projects to include:

• The support to acquisition of missile tactical software development
• Testing and the deployment/fielding of software versions

• Review of software documentation

• Software reviews

• Support agile events (sprint reviews, backlog grooming, sprint demonstrations, etc.)

• Azure DevOps experience

• DevSecOps project support

• Testing support (V&V)

• Candidate is expected to support all project milestone reviews

• Documentation reviews

• Software code reviews

• Tracking of contract deliverables

• Manage cost, schedule, and performance

• Tracking project metrics

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of software development process and systems process
• Use of Microsoft Project in the assessment of developed software schedules
• Management of software requirements
• Support to integration testing with STORM launchers
• Application of risk management tools to assess development and performance risks
• Support to budget analyst in cost determinations for tactical software projects
• Understanding of Agile software development processes

• Desired project management expertise

• Candidate must possess SW engineering expertise understanding the SDLC lifecycle and Agile practices.
• Candidate must be a team player and willing to work across multiple teams

• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Develop and brief project presentations and status

• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• BS degree Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
