Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various accounting software. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing the company's payables, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors, and maintaining detailed financial records.

Duties:
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Maintain vendor files and update information as needed
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Generate financial reports related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment issues or inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping
- Familiarity with payroll processes and systems (ADP, Kronos)
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
