HHA Functions

• Providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
• Ensuring a clean and safe home environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences
• Assisting clients with medication reminders and administration, as directed by healthcare professionals
• Providing companionship and emotional support to promote social interaction and mental well-being
• Reporting any changes in clients' condition or safety concerns to the supervising healthcare professional
• Documenting care provided and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible care for clients
• Complying with all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to home health care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
• Compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and strong commitment to providing high-quality care
• Knowledge of infection control practices and the ability to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
