Penntek Industrial Coatings is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Lakeville, MN

Penntek Industrial Coatings is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized candidate with a willingness to learn and a desire to jumpstart a career in business to business sales. As a Business Development Representative, you will develop leading-edge sales, marketing and client service skills by working side by side with Penntek’s regional sales managers and vice president. Since 2010, Penntek Industrial Coatings has sold industry-leading, award-winning products in the realm of concrete floor coating solutions. Partnering with quality contractors, Penntek has enjoyed strong growth that has mirrored the exploding floor coating segment of home improvement. Today, Penntek concrete floor coating products are available through dealers all over the country. Our reliable, easy-to-use products are a favorite of contractors, and our customers love the finished results.

Here’s what a typical day would be like…

  • Quick “huddle” with your sales leader to set your focus and goals
  • Execute outbound campaigns supported by ongoing digital marketing programs and tactics
  • Work with your sales leader to master appointment setting skills with home improvement decision-makers
  • Learn and practice effective messaging that will spark a client’s interest in Penntek’s value
  • Set meetings for Penntek’s outside sales staff to sign new partners
  • Use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to connect and build rapport with home improvement decision-makers
  • Develop your knowledge of home improvement businesses and how Penntek can best serve their clients
  • Apply your listening and curiosity skills which can help spark a decision-maker’s interest
  • Keep track of your daily activities and client communications using Netsuite (CRM)
  • Investigate (and document) companies that fit Penntek’s prospect profile
  • Develop hands-on skills with leading research and marketing platforms, such as Linkedin, Facebook and Google
  • Assist with a new client onboarding as needed
  • Join an internal sales team call to share best practices, tips and product training
  • Celebrate wins with your team!

Pay: $45,000-50,000 base salary plus bonus

OTE: $70,000-$85,000

Prefer 1-2 year experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
