Financial Data Analyst - Hybrid on site/remote - Bonus eligible position.

Growing insurance industry company looking to add to their data and financial analysis team. This person should be literate and well versed in financial analysis in a data driven (SQL) environment to contribute to a company that is experiencing consistent and steady growth. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow along with a team with untapped potential here in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze & interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Accounting, Data Infrastructure, and Actuarial.
• Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and apply that knowledge to improve processes and analysis techniques.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a data analysis role
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using statistical modeling and data analysis software (such as SAS, R, or Python)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView)
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but not required.
