The Loan Portfolio Operations Analyst will support Peachtree Group’s operations and asset management activities with a primary focus on loan and investment servicing, investment return analysis, and loan draw processing. You will work closely with the in-house asset management team, our external servicing group, underwriting teams, borrowers, participant and facility lenders and other key stakeholders. The position requires strong written and verbal communication, as well as excellent interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills. Attention to detail is crucial.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyze loan data to make informed decisions and coordinate internally with borrowers, loan participants, lenders, and with our external servicing group.
• Work with borrowers to interpret loan information, provide reporting data, and generally foster a customer friendly experience.
• Work with loan participants and senior lenders regarding reporting, ad-hoc projects and requests, and payment application analysis.
• Maintain renovation budgets, review and analyze draw requests, and coordinate with borrowers, construction monitoring firms, loan participants, and others to smoothly process and fund loan draws.
• Project returns and model changes in financing structures on deals.
• Review and facilitate the onboarding of new loans, both originated by Peachtree Group and acquired from third parties.
• Coordinate and create loan return analyses to make informed investment decisions and to calculate investment returns.
• Ad-hoc review of loan documents to ensure compliance with loan covenants and restrictions.
• Coordinate with accounting teams to transfer funds and resolve payment issues as needed.
• Develop and implement processes to improve existing loan servicing and asset management processes.
• Work with the team on other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, real estate or related field.
• 1 – 5 years of experience, loan servicing and/or financial services preferred.
• Loan servicing, asset management, construction draw processing, commercial lending, or private equity experience preferred.
