Summary
Provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, equal employment opportunity, and/or employee records. Processes HR department applications, including employment and enrollment applications; maintains attendance and employment records, and compiles statistics for various HR management reports. May conduct pre-employment screening interviews, check references and respond to routine questions on HR policy. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Reports to the Human Resources Manager

Examples of Duties

  • Administer employee merit increases monthly, and assist with bi-annual salary surveys of Peach Tree wages
  • Gallagher Salary Surveys – reporting data out for compilation with other FQs
  • Employee Handbook updates - process changes to HR policies based on employee handbook and legal updates
  • Maintain initial CMA/LVN credentialing and recredentialing
  • Maintain clinical staff employment contracts and issue addendums as needed
  • Assist with new hire onboarding as needed
  • Maintain ADP due dates for annual evaluations, longevity bonuses, licenses, etc.
  • Monitor license expiration dates in MedTrainer and obtain updated licenses as needed
  • Preparation and filing of annual EEOC Employee demographics reporting, and annual Pay Data report
  • Edit Human Resources Department forms as directed
  • Review submitted PAC forms for completion and make needed corrections prior to signatures
  • Administer performance management systems, ensuring timely completion of performance reviews. Maintain Performance Dashboard
  • Respond to unemployment claims
  • Assist with compensation analysis of company positions
  • Maintain HR Help e-mail and respond accordingly, including routing requests to appropriate person for resolution
  • Monitor HR Manager e-mail to assist with general HR requests
  • Make structural changes to Organization Chart as needed
  • Maintain DocuSign templates and add new templates as needed
  • Train as backup to HR Manager on items such as employee discipline and termination, salary and wage questions, unemployment, and company policies
  • Backup administrator for Basecamp, monitoring due dates and completion, adding new projects, make template changes as needed

Other Duties

  • Maintain Paperless HR Employee Records on items such as pay increases, review due dates, and disciplinary action
  • Utilize internal project tracking system to maintain cross company communication.
  • Assist HR team with projects as assigned
  • Maintain and enhance competency through in-services, staff meetings and educational programs

Travel Requirements
Occasionally may travel to other sites to attend meetings or training; occasionally overnight for training.
