PCI Government Services is Hiring a Project Manager Near Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to support the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an overarching strategy, creating a detailed project management plan, and efficiently executing tasks to ensure the project's success. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate with internal teams, high-profile collaborators, and CDC leadership.

  • Formulate and implement a robust strategy for the project, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Create a project management plan to operationalize the work, defining tasks, milestones, and timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal communication and liaise with high-profile collaborators and CDC leadership.
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication channels are established and maintained throughout the project.
  • Oversee logistical aspects of the project, ensuring seamless coordination of resources, materials, and personnel.
  • Address any logistical challenges that may arise and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, proactively addressing issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator and solo operator, ensuring the smooth operation of the project.
  • Implement project management best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, with a successful track record of implementing and overseeing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with CDC and public health initiatives.

Pay Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
