Job Summary
Vertiv is looking to hire a Sr. Project Manager, who will focus on development KVM and Serial products.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing a number of projects related to design and manufacturing of new products, including software development.
• New Product Development lifecycle; gathering requirements, creating specifications, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, product launch.
• You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated new product development projects or strategic initiatives.
• You will be reviewing project charter, business case and requirements to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
• You will confer with appropriate LOB offering management to outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• You will establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for assignment of project personnel.
• You will direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a program management type role, with an emphasis on new product development environment
• Experience leading diverse geographical teams with different cultures, languages and backgrounds
• Expertise in problem solving and decision making
• PMP Certification preferred
• Agile Certifications preferred
• Strong knowledge project management standards and practices
• Strong communication skills in English (oral and written) – you will be working closely with our international teams worldwide
