Alabama Lawn Masters is Hiring a Project Manager Near Huntsville, AL

ALM Commercial Landscaping-Huntsville is searching for a Landscape Project Manager to run multiple construction projects simultaneously while staying on time and in budget while delivering on quality standards. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of hardscapes, irrigation, grading, plant identification, and blue print take offs. This position is fulltime and benefit eligible. We are looking for candidates who want a long-term career and we are ready to invest in their growth!
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings with clients to select hardscaping materials, plants, etc.
  • Oversee landscape jobs in progress.
  • Handle change orders once a project is underway and make design revisions as needed.
  • Communicate with clients throughout the project to keep them updated, address issues, etc.
  • Instruct employees on the proper ways to operate all types of landscape equipment such as, skid steer, excavator, trencher, mini skid steer, dump truck, truck and trailer, saws, and hand tools
  • Ensures adherence to safe work practices and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Degree or equivalent is desired
  • 3 years of experience of landscape construction required
  • Knowledge of hardscapes, irrigation, grading, plant identification, and blue print take offs is needed
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
  • Strong verbal and written communicator who can work effectively with various types of people
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and walk 10 miles a day
