Professional Summary: LinQuest Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Staff Support/Help Desk Specialist to perform a variety of functions, including, primarily, Information Technology, Audio/Visual, Logistics, Records Management, Facilities, and IT Help Desk support functions in support of SPACECENT. The selected individual will serve as part of a team consisting of operational military subject matter experts, training managers, and knowledge management subject matter experts to advance SPACECENT efforts in all areas of planning and information sharing across SPACECENT staff and international partners. Responsibilities: The Specialist will work across the team and SPACECENT staff to assist in the implementation and development of IT management processes and ensure the maintenance and security administration of all IT equipment and architectures to enable information sharing, security, and IT consistent IT operations. The Specialist should thrive in a work environment with high expectations, and be able to manage significantly diverse assignments with attention to details. Working independently, or as part of a diverse team, the Staff Support/Help Desk Specialist will be responsible for: * Assisting with facilities, information technology, audio/visual equipment, and logistics functions.
* Coordination with internal and external IT service providers.
* Serving as the organization’s client support administrator and providing user support in troubleshooting computer systems and networks, including printers, scanners, software, and other IT equipment assigned.
* Performing urgent technical problem resolution.
* Managing office supplies and equipment.
* Work with knowledge management staff to assist with administering the customer's Microsoft SharePoint site, including managing access permissions, configuring content layout, and organizing and managing file structure.
* Providing the support needed to operate SPACECENT meeting and conference facilities.
* Coordinating and overseeing the maintenance and repair of SPACECENT IT equipment in accordance with DoD standards.
* Developing standard operating procedures and serving as facilitator for users’ requirements regarding IT matters.
* Establishing and managing online databases, employing SharePoint or similar applications when required.
* Supporting the Information Systems Security actions in support of SPACECENT, to include resolving software and hardware issues, account access, data transfers, scanning, and copying data to/from external media when required.
Required Skills and Experience: * Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance to be considered for the position.
* Excellent organizations skills: ability to prioritize, plan, track, and meet due dates for multiple concurrent tasks and products central to the customer’s business processes.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar standard computer applications.
* Experience using, administering, and trouble-shooting hardware and software to in support of SPACECENT military, government, and contractor staff.
* Knowledge with providing/limiting access to shared sites such as shared drives and SharePoint.
* Ability to foster stable and productive business relationships that promote cooperation
* Ability to work collaboratively with personnel from multiple functions and at all levels of the customer organization to deliver results; strong networking, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential
* Bachelor’s Degree and 7-10 years of work experience.
* Network administration user configuration experience.
* IAT II Certification is required
Preferred Skills and Experience: * Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, or engineering)
* Recent experience in a military headquarters staff, or substantially similar organization
* Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint configuration and administration
* Experience supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, Service Staff, or other DoD customers * IAM II certification is preferred
