Pathway Health has partnered with Mercy Harvard Care Center to find their next Director of Nursing (DON).
This 5-star Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facility is seeking an experienced DON to provide clinical oversight to the nursing department.
Mercy Harvard Care Center is part of the Mercyhealth Harvard Hospital in Harvard, IL.
The ideal candidate will be a strong compassionate, hands-on leader that will have responsibility for the day-to-day nursing and leadership of the nursing department.
Salary Range: $85K-$110K plus benefits.
Some of the duties will include:
* Sets and tracks departmental goals and objectives
* Develops and implements nursing policies and procedures
* Supervises, trains, and evaluates nursing staff
* Sets the nursing schedule
* Investigates patient complaints
* Oversees the department's budget
* Designs and manages continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
* Ensures that all guidelines, regulations, and standards are followed
What is takes to succeed:
* Current RN license
* BSN
* 2-4 years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably as Director of Nursing
* CPR Certification
