Path Engineering is Hiring a Human Resources Assistant Near Richmond, IN

Role

As a Human Resources Generalist (also known as HR Specialist, HR Associate), you'll provide comprehensive support to HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, training, and record keeping. You'll process applications, conduct pre-employment screening interviews, process background checks, and respond to routine HR policy queries. Additionally, you'll process and submit payroll weekly.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including: ADA, ADEA, FMLA, OSHA, worker's compensation, wage and hour law, hiring practice and EEO compliance.
  • Experience with processing payroll and payroll reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, maintain confidentiality in daily operations, and have above average computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
