James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Keith McNally and Stephen Starr debuted New York City’s quintessential Parisian-style brasserie,Pastis, in Miami’s bustling colorful Wynwood neighborhood this April. The critically acclaimed restaurant that anchored Manhattan’s Meatpacking District for nearly 15 years became a beloved institution.
Leading our culinary team is Executive Chef Neil O’Connell. Chef Neil brings a depth of culinary expertise, having worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and brasseries in the United Kingdom to revered Miami hotspots, Fontainebleau, and national oversight with hospitality group SBE.
We are currently seeking a Sous Chef who is interested in working with a large, collaborative, cohesive culinary unit executing amazing French fare made with high-quality ingredients and integrity.

Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience in high volume, fast-paced, culinarily driven kitchens
- Prior experience training and leading a large hourly culinary team
- Passion for training and development of others
- Attention to details of food quality, preparation, and presentation
- Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
- Strong written and computer skills
