Parker Staffing Services is Hiring a Remote Development Associate

Development Associate needed to support a growing technology firm with fundraising development.

Job ID: 23483
Pay Rate: $25 - $30 per hour
Location: Seattle, WA
Work Arrangement: Remote
Employment Type: Contract

The Development Associate will support the branch manager with administrative duties to support fundraising efforts. Must have a working knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, and public relations techniques, including first-hand experience with solicitations and donor communication. This role will be responsible for the data entry and maintenance of the CRM Salesforce. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize competing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Mid-level grants / donor prospecting, solicitation and management
  • Administrative support including calendar management, travel expense management, and other administrative duties
  • Event planning as needed
  • Light-level sponsorship solicitation
  • Routine verbal, written, and email correspondence on behalf of the Chief Development Officer
  • Grant research, supporting the Grants and Database Manager
  • Oversight and data management of the CRM including data entry and creating / pulling reports, in partnership with the Grants and Database Manager
  • Timely follow-up on receipt and acknowledgement of gifts and other donor related communications
  • Reconciliation of related data entry activity against accounting records

Establishment of a donor recognition program, in partnership with communication team

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years’ experience working in an administrative capacity
  • 2-3 years’ experience working for a non-profit organization, preferably as a part of the development or grants team
  • Prior experience working with grants required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Salesforce
