Parker and Sons is looking for their next HVAC Sales Manager - specifically overseeing the sales of our HVAC Selling Techs. Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Sr. VP of Sales to plan for and reach sales goals
  • Work indirectly with HVAC Sales Manager & Service Manager to reach interdepartmental goals
  • Work with HVAC Sales and Service dispatchers for call assignment and prioritization.
  • Lead and coach our team of Selling Techs
  • Coach employees for skill enhancement and performance improvement through personal experience and shared techniques from other Selling Techs and Comfort Consultants
  • Motivate employees to achieve high levels of performance
  • Assist Selling Techs with over the phone negotiations to close sales
  • Drive lead production from ALL service technicians to meet or exceed goals
    • Heavy focus on Over-10 lead conversion
  • Evaluate training programs and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with Sales trainer to identify relevant training needs
  • Design and host sales training classes & conduct weekly training meetings
    • Schedule and host new selling tech qualification classes
    • Design and adjust content for training classes
  • Attend relevant HVAC Sales and Service related meetings
  • Forecast, track, and report sales metrics
  • Identify growth opportunities for new and existing Selling Techs
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Field customer calls and concerns & ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  • Manage employee schedules
  • Ride alongs in the field
  • On-call weekend rotation for HVAC Sales
  • Source, interview, and hire new talent
  • Enforce following company procedures and regulations such as best practices, safety, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of related experience required
  • Has exceptional communication skills and should be able to coach, train, and teach in a clear and concise manner
  • Patient and should have the ability to motivate the sales team to achieve high levels of performance
  • Able to answer and solve challenges that the team encounters
  • Able to develop innovative ideas to meet the changing training needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Knowledgeable in using a computer, tablet, smart phone, and other work-related technology
  • MUST be highly motivated and a self-starter
  • Work as part of our team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and to maintain the integrity of our organization’s reputation and culture
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, some weekends required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • MUST have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift, carry and maneuver a minimum of 25 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
  • Work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely
  • Must be able to travel
  • Constantly operates office machinery, such as a computer, phone, tablet, printer
  • Constantly communicates with management team and coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
  • Must be able to work while stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping and/or feeling
  • Keep well groomed, clean uniform and appearance
