We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our clients’ accounting and finance team. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in the financial operations of our client and will be responsible for overseeing and supervising their Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client’s financial success while upholding their values of professionalism, integrity, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial performance
• Supervise and lead the AP and AR teams, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions
• Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections in a timely manner
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred)
• 3-5 years’ experience in public accounting strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
