Our organization, comprising a medical practice, a high-complexity lab, and an ambulatory surgery center, is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive individual to join our team in a compliance-focused role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare compliance and a deep understanding of rules, regulations, and audits for CMS, DHEC, CLIA, AAAHC, and/or DEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct random audits across all departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices, including those related to CMS, DHEC, CLIA, AAAHC, and DEA.
• Act as the liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans as required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to institute new compliance programs or adjustments to current programs.
• Provide advice and guidance on compliance matters to organizational staff.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a compliance role within a healthcare setting.
• Deep knowledge of CMS, DHEC, CLIA, AAAHC, and/or DEA rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using compliance software and other related technology.
