About This Position

Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is currently soliciting applications for the position of Data Analyst III, located in: Norfolk, VA.

The primary responsibility of the Data Analyst is to provide analytical analysis and data supported recommendations for fleet sustainment programs.

Duties Include:

• Performing numerous ad hoc data analyses, including assembling the right data sources, conducting rigorous analysis, and formatting the results for presentation to senior leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess and maintain a US Government Secret level clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or engineering field
• 10 years technical experience relevant to logistics systems and data management expertise executing ship acquisition and fleet sustainment support services utilizing MSC/Navy databases/systems such as CMLS, ShipCLIP, R-Supply, WinMASP, CDMD-OA or MERLIN
• 5 years experience in extracting and using data from Relational Data Management Systems database (RDBMS) using Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Experience in developing metrics, pivot tables, graphs to support logistics Key Performance Indicators such as inventory posture, CASREPs, customer wait time and requisition trends
