**Description**
**Summary**
Manage assigned district sales and profit margins. Train Sales Representatives to open and penetrate profitable accounts and serve customers while strengthening the image and distribution of company products. Responsible for managing Sales Representatives, key customer accounts, and projects while exceeding customer expectations.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence, and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
* Achieve annualized sales and profit budgets.
* Conduct district team meetings and participate in monthly branch sales meetings.
* Complete periodic team member performance reviews.
* Participate in weekly meetings with A/R to review teams accounts that are past terms.
* Working with the team a minimum of three days per week in the field.
* Monthly meeting with the sales manager, reviewing each team members sales to budget, new accounts, A/R, Weekly Activity Reports, etc.
* Work with Representatives to generate new customers while increasing lines in existing accounts.
* Review each Representatives Weekly Activity Report to assure they have achievable growth plans in place.
* Complete all required Sales related reports in a timely fashion.
* Manage teams D&F item activity and deliveries.
* Manage teams route profitabilityreview monthly with Transportation Manager.
* Review all inactive accounts within their districts for re-assignment growth opportunities.
* Review daily sales reports for daily margin or line item opportunities.
* Set and Monitor monthly PSU courses and various sales training goals for team members.
* Train Sales Team on properly conduct OHRs, product cuttings, and samplings, and how to complete all company forms accurately.
* Establish and manage the districts top 15 A plus accounts and new account targets.
* Rotate team members through the warehouse, night shift, and day shift once every six months, coordinating with the operations manager.
* Manage team members vacation schedules as well as the food service support person.
* Identify and recruit new team members.
* Constantly challenge team members to higher levels of achievement while being a consistent leader, trainer, and coach at all times.
* Conduct customer business reviews and menu analysis.
* Communicate all relevant enhancements to promotions, programs, policies, and procedures promptly to their respective team members.
* Assist with related marketing programs, as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
Directly supervises team members in the Foodservice Sales Department. In addition, it carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or university in a related field is required.
* Minimum two years of supervisory experience are required.
* Minimum three years of experience directly managing a sales team is preferred.
* A seafood or protein sales background is preferred.
**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements**
* Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
* Valid drivers license.
**Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required**
* Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
* Demonstrate ability to manage and develop teams and execute sales programs.
* Ability to lead, create, and increase momentum toward continuous improvement.
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other organization team members.
