PJI Executive Assistant – Garden Grove

Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant to work out of our Garden Grove, CA office. PJI is the leading faith-based non-profit organization across the country, with 36 offices strategically placed coast to coast in 26 states, providing legal representation to clients—without charge—in defense of religious freedom, parental rights, the sanctity of life, and other civil liberties.

PJI handles thousands of requests for assistance annually and has empowered individuals, families, and ministries through major case victories and media coverage on their syndicated daily TV show, radio show, and :60 commentary heard on over 1000 stations nationwide. Purpose of the Position

The Executive Assistant for the Garden Grove office is a new role created during a time of significant growth in the organization. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director of Operations, this role will primarily provide administrative support to the President of Pacific Justice Institute. This individual will be instrumental in supporting the Operations department initiatives of increasing awareness of the organization’s mission, managing the president’s schedule and activities, and acting as a liaison between the president and the Operations department. Given the ever-changing landscape of the organization, this Executive Assistant must be flexible, self-driven, and a problem-solver.

Executive Assistant duties include:

  • Support the President, including handling mail, email, phone calls, donor management, and communicating the president’s directives to senior leadership, ensuring all goals and objectives are accomplished.
  • Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, including handling travel logistics and activities such as accommodations and transportation.
  • Maintain and refine internal processes concerning scheduling, communication with supporters, and organizational practices.
  • Carry out clerical duties such as answering/screening phone calls, responding to live chats, responding to emails, and data entry in the constituent database (CRM).
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience in an administrative role supporting executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Calendar, Gmail, and an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
  • Basic knowledge of using/navigating CRMs.
  • Self-driven with the ability to be team and mission-oriented.

Requirement

  • Must have reliable transportation (10-20% travel)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
