Who We Serve
Pacific Clinics serves children, transitional age youth, families, adults, and older adults. We offer a full range of mental and behavioral health services, foster care and social services, housing, continuing adult education and early childhood education programs to Medi-Cal eligible individuals and families throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Orange, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Stockton, Tulare and Ventura Counties.
What We Offer
JOB SUMMARY
Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency. Recruits, assesses, determines eligibility and agency fit, and certifies qualified resource families for the Foster Care and Adoptions program within assigned geographic area. Independently conducts home studies, initial case management and final walk-through for prospective families. Conducts Pre-certification training.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Conducts orientations, office visits, and other meetings with applicants.
2. Conducts resource family training, including pre-certification, re-certification and complete all required all training documentation.
3. Independently conducts and writes home studies
4. Determines if a family is appropriate for certification as a resource family.
5. Develops and creates family development plans
6. Identifies family needs regarding additional training or support services to be successful resource parents.
7. Conducts final walk-through and certification of resource families.
8. Completes administrative tasks related to the certification process.
9. Participates in weekly placement meetings.
10. Collaborates and communicates with placement and treatment teams, youth, prospective, new and current foster parents and co-workers.
11. Performs other duties, as assigned, may vary dependent on site and programmatic needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
