Description

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for proactively ensuring the proper billing, processing, and posting of patient claims occurs. This position will also assist with phone traffic within the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Providing an incredible patient experience (#1 GOAL!)
• Review and processing and submission of patient claims.
• Cross-referencing and verification of claims submissions.
• Receiving and posting of insurance and patient payments.
• Routine and consistent follow up with insurance payers on status of past-due claims. To include the full appeal / dispute of denied claims.
• Creation and distribution of patient billing statements.
• General data entry and review, ensuring all patient and referral information is correct for billing purposes.
• Acting as point-of-contact for patient questions regarding claims and balances due.
• Proactively communicating with team members and management on potential issues regarding insurance claims and patient balances.
• Assistance with verification of patient benefits prior to services being rendered.
• General administrative duties when necessary to support the other team members.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
