The Role

The Fuel Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, or arranging for repairs of petroleum equipment, EV charging equipment, and all operating systems (primarily point-of-sale) at a given location.

Essential Functions

• Perform highly diversified duties to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain petroleum and EV equipment.
• Service mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform various technical duties including Point of Sale configuration changes, application loads, and networking. Ability to contact manufacturer support helpdesk for escalation.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order.
• Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.
• Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations and requirements.

Core Competencies

• Experience with computer tasks such as software installation, installing
  hard drives, networks, routers, printers, creating folders and moving content preferred.

• Experience with electrical controls and electronic wiring a plus

Requirements

• Will maintain a valid driver’s License as well as a clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be available for on-call rotation.
• Ability to safely drive a full-sized company vehicle
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, occasionally lift approximately 50lbs.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with DOT regulations
