Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation and legal proceedings
- Conduct initial client calls to gather relevant information for cases
- Perform legal research and analysis to support case preparation
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, estate plans and contracts
- Maintain case files and documents in an organized manner
- Coordinate and manage case calendars and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence
Skills:
- 7 years legal experience
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively gather necessary information from new and existing clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously
- Attention to detail for accurate drafting and filing of legal documents
- Proficiency in using legal software for data entry and document management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in multiple areas of law and various counties is highly favorable
