Position Summary: Must possess the ability to work independently with minimum supervision within a private primary care office. Must be able to work within the scope of the medical protocols and within the scope of your state’s license. Must have the ability to provide prompt, comprehensive and competent primary care to patients as their Primary Care Provider. Must be available to work 2 days a week Monday and Tuesday between two 8 am Until 5 pm
Essential Responsibilities
1.Provides efficient, compassionate, personalized care to all patients.
2.Provides leadership, direction, and assistance during patient visits while maintaining a comforting and reassuring environment for patients
3.Complies with necessary regulatory standards and licensure requirements mandated by Federal and State Agencies (i.e. HIPAA, OSHA, and CPR certification)
4.Performs medical assessment of patients and appropriately documents all relevant information on designated forms and/or Electronic Health Records used to assist the Biller/Coder with appropriate billing and submission of claims.
5.Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for all patients
6.Performs examinations for physicals, wellness tests and lab, test, screenings
7.Works with Manager and other staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards
8.Conducts, participates in and assists with monthly in-service and continuing education programs for providers and staff when schedule.
9.Providing medical coverage for assigned site, if needed
10.Assures compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies
11.Performs medical assessment, procedures, and determines treatment recommendations of patients - Physicals, Pap Smears, Abscess drainage, Suture Removals, EKG's, etc.
12.Ability to utilize 3 exam rooms while working in a single-provider center
13.Order and reviews all laboratory and radiology test and develops appropriate treatment plan
14.Performs other duties as assigned
15.Acts with honesty and integrity in all business transactions, including, but not limited to, employment applications/resumes, patient records, time records, and financial transactions
16.Completion of all charts within 24 hours
17.Must have the ability to evaluate, assess, diagnosis and treat 20 patients daily.
