UT Regional One Physicians is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to float between one or more of our Primary Care locations. 

JOB SUMMARY: Acts as the primary health care provider performing health care assessments, diagnosis, treatment, preventive health care, instructions and follow-up care to patients in the management of patient and family care following established protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program; Master's preferred. Additional training may be required for specialty areas. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) for more years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Primary Care setting preferred.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Nurse Practitioner certification or registry eligible required. Current licensure as RN in State of Tennessee. Eligible for Certificate of Fitness (Prescriptive privileges) in State of Tennessee required. BLS required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Constant walking, standing; lifting and positioning patients/equipment; exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is needed to access color changes. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.")
