OWC is searching for a Returns Specialist I to help OWC ensure the highest quality standards. Our Returns Specialists are problem solvers, who play a critical role in the success of OWC.

The Returns Specialist team will ensure the long-term success of our product returns process.

Our Returns Specialist team members are a core part of our organization, this role will help continue to lay the foundation for a seamless return process and provide the opportunity to advance into a Return Specialist II based on tenure and performance. You will have the support, tools, and resources to grow your career at OWC in the coming years.

What Will You be Doing?

• Receive, sort, and organize customer returns from our warehouse.
• Disposition and process incoming customer return orders into our ERP system.
• Creates cases on return orders.
• Process customer refunds and replacements.
• Conducts testing of customer returns. The Returns Specialist I requires basic functional testing of products.
• Performs product pretesting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Performs repairs on products as needed. The Returns Specialist I requires basic repair work that doesn’t require particular skills.
• Notify leadership of observed issues/trends which arise on returns and create non-conformance orders if necessary.
• Assembles and repacks returned goods to OWC specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Bring with You?

• Have a familiarity with computers.
• Ability to process and test product returns accurately and consistently on a daily basis.
• Ability to read part numbers and differentiate products and components by type and item number.
• Ability to read small print accurately and repeatedly.
• Ability to learn new computer technology and how to test it.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain information taught throughout course of employment.
• Ability to operate and effectively interface with software for inputting testing notes.
• Typing at least 25-30 WPM.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be detail oriented, have good critical thinking skills, and possess the ability to facilitate information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong ability to multi-task.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must have open availability and work overtime, when requested.

Compensation Structure for the Position

The compensation package for this role includes an hourly rate of $20 USD per hour.
