Dates – June 3rd, 2024 to August 9th, 2024 Location – Home Office Onsite ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Position Summary: The OTG Paid Summer Internship gives students an immersive, hands-on learning experience within OTG Management at our New York City office. The Intern will be assigned to one of the following parts of the business: Software. The Intern will support the department by working on (but not limited to) special projects and initiatives. Responsibilities and Project List: Learn and uphold the organization's values, philosophy, ethics, integrity, and code of conduct. Assist with various projects and research, as requested by the department. Learn the ROB (rhythm of business.) Special Projects might include: Quality Assurance of our floXgen application. Scoping new features relating to the web portion of floXgen. Assisting with project management-related tasks like: Jira management, project plan creation, and leading daily standup meetings with the development team. Learn key functions and update/provide input based on Ceridian Dayforce, our HR (Human Resources) system. Provide administrative support to the assigned department, as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of an Associate or bachelor's Program in an accredited College or University, pursuing a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Management degree. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task. High levels of initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to take constructive feedback. Successful in both an independent and team-oriented work environment. Strong work ethic and integrity, with high energy and a positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications: Hospitality and customer experience-oriented. Previous experience/knowledge working in a position with high confidentiality. Experience working within a cross-functional team.
