Osmosis is the leading interchain DEX built on the Cosmos ecosystem. We're on a mission to build the future of DeFi, and we're searching for a talented and visionary DeFi Product Manager to join our growing team. https://osmosis.zone/

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and Leading the roadmap for the Osmosis DEX, defining the core features and functionalities that will drive user adoption and growth while building towards the long term strategic product vision.
  • Understand business goals and establish product success criteria with clearly measurable objectives and key results to deliver a great user experience
  • Conducting in-depth user & ecosystem research, market analysis, user interviews to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the DeFi space.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Growth, Operations, Design, Engineering, and Testing, to drive the successful implementation and launch of the new capabilities from start to finish.
  • Defining clear product specifications and requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Working closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements into actionable plans with clear timelines to execute efficiently and deliver impact for our business and users.
  • Championing a data-driven approach to product development, utilizing analytics to measure success and iterate on existing features.
  • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in DeFi technology, market, competitive landscape and landscape.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the Osmosis community, fostering collaboration and gathering valuable feedback.

You're the ideal candidate if you have:

  • Proven experience (5 years) as a product manager in a fast-paced tech startup environment.
  • Proven experience (3 years) as a product manager in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) with a deep understanding of DeFi concepts and protocols.
  • Experience working with blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps).
  • A strong track record of shipping successful DeFi products with a focus on user experience.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for DeFi and the potential it holds for the future of finance.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship in a fully remote and distributed manner
  • Demonstrated understanding of agile software project management methods such as SCRUM.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working within or outside the Cosmos ecosystem and interoperable DEXs.
  • A solid understanding of tokenomics and incentive design.
  • Experience building and managing product roadmaps in a rapidly evolving space.
  • A strong network within the DeFi and blockchain community.
