What You’ll Do: As the Product Manager, you will build and implement product strategies consistent with the Backroads company vision. You will retrieve and analyze feedback from customers٫ stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements٫ features and end products. You will need to anticipate user needs and desired outcomes, and then articulate impact across products. You will be responsible for ensuring strong measurement and quantitative understanding of services - opportunities, and benefits achieved by customer pain points. You will collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps, and you will work with business and other Product teams to develop or modify processes and support post-launch change management efforts. You will need to articulate product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross-functional partners. You will help mentor and provide guidance to other passionate product team members. You will set goals and measure results. You will own a product and deliver change. And you will understand the values that drive Backroads, its operations, and the guest experience. Other responsibilities include: Driving the product and business-planning process across cross-functional teams of the company Developing and communicating product needs to engineering counterparts to ensure high quality and to accelerate time to market Own the delivery timeline and ensure good decisions are made to balance product quality and delivery timeline. Collaborating on new product ideas and strategizing appropriate go-to-market plans Actively manage risk and cost to maximize ROI of product improvements. Developing broad knowledge about current and future product features, customers, and market opportunities. Maintaining product roadmap and strategic guidelines informing architectural decisions that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives. Driving the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including analysis, planning, roadmap development, requirements development, and new release launch Collaborating with executive stakeholders to understand company objectives and to discover and craft creative solutions to address the company’s most important needs. Outlining product strategy through detailed requirements for final product development by engineering teams. Collaborating closely with internal and contract development teams to lead prioritization, development, and QA efforts. Developing architectural and design principles to improve customer engagement, usability, performance, and scalability of product. Who You Are: You're excited about solving complex challenges; you have a test and learn mentality and an agile way of working to improve your product. You can turn qualitative and quantitative info into product recommendations. You're successful in influencing others, leading teams, managing stakeholders, and communicating clearly. You have a proven ability to research, collect and analyze information to use in determining digital product options using data-driven decisions. You have advanced verbal and written communication skills which allow you to effectively present, negotiate, convey and explain information. You have strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to lead, build consensus and promote the exchange of information among the project team, program team, clients, and other internal and external constituencies. Salary Ranges: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 At Backroads, we uphold a commitment to transparency and fairness within our hiring process, particularly regarding compensation. The salary range posted for each role applies to both employment offers and employees actively working in the role. New hires are typically offered a starting salary between the minimum and midpoint of the range to ensure there is continued opportunity for salary progression during your employment at Backroads, reflecting our commitment to rewarding ongoing dedication, high performance, and significant contributions to our team. Pay ranges for remote-eligible roles will be subject to adjustment based on the geolocation of the employee.
