About the Role 

An opportunity to join a developing accounting team for a significant carve-out entity with a global footprint as it stands up financial procedures and controls. A potential candidate is willing to roll up their sleeves, demonstrate an eye for detail, and strong ability in problem-solving. The role offers exposure to a range of financial and other department leadership, as well as opportunities to be involved in a wide variety of both accounting and financial areas. The candidate will be able to see end-to-end finance processes in accounting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support monthly close process for US and international entities.
• Prepare / review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare / review bank reconciliations.
• Support / drive to document and improve closing processes.
• Assist with developing and enhancing accounting processes.
• Assist with financial audit requests.
• Special projects and reports as needed.

Key Stakeholders

• Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Sales & Marketing

Qualifications 

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels.
• Must have experience with general ledger account reconciliations.
• Solid working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Coding knowledge in Python or other popular languages to assist in automating Microsoft-Excel-based repetitive tasks is a strong plus.
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities.
• Self-driven with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Curious / Adaptable and with an ability to pivot as needed.
• Microsoft access and NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• CPA preferred
• Bachelors or better in Accounting

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $59,000 – $96,000.

The range listed is just one component of Orveon’s total compensation package for employees.
