Job Title : Marketing Intern

Reports To : Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt (salary)

Work Schedule: Variable; Generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.; occasional weekends or evenings for specific marketing events may be required.

Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Intern to join our team for a period of May 2024 - onwards to assist with various marketing activities. As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with our marketing team and assist with day-to-day marketing operations.

This position requires compliance with OrthoEast’s compliance standards, including its Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures. Such compliance will be an element required as part of the job duties, and considered during performance evaluations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Analyze and help create content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram

· Optimize engagement and manage data related to social media performance

· Identify opportunities for improvement and growth in social media presence

· Assist with daily administrative tasks related to marketing operations

· Help organize marketing events and promotional activities

· Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and strategies

· Assist in market research and analysis

· Support the development of marketing materials and collateral

· Assist in the coordination of marketing campaigns

· Provide general support to the marketing team as needed

Requirements:

· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Canva, and PowerPoint

· Experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram is a plus

· Must be willing to work in a team environment and contribute to building a positive team spirit

· Must be highly organized to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously

· Must demonstrate professionalism through appearance and extensive interactions with other

Physical Demands:

· Extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and working on a computer

· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
